Rachael and Alyssa

Grand=daughters in Tasmania It is a real blessing to know they are happy and settled in their life and that even though we do not get to see them real often we are still able to keep in touch through the medium of modern technology.

A selection of emails from the girls .

Hello again, I just need to tell you that on Wednesday the 15th is the last day we can send e-mails to each other this year, unless you send e-mails to nan's e-mail address.
Because don't have a computer at home, and Wednesday is the last day at school, but we go somewhere on the Thursday to finish off school.
The calves are going really well, but Kim is getting old and he can barely jump the fence to his feeding area. Otherwise everything is going great. Bye

 Hello again,

Alyssa received the card yesterday, and yes she loved the cake. It had delicious green icing and there were iced vovos around the edges. We had pizza for tea and we had Fanta Spider Choc Orange to drink, it tasted like jaffas.

 Hi Grandpa,

Guess what? We've got another calf he is called Tango.

He's a Hereford X Friesian and his coat is red. he is as big as Benny is. Benny is 6 weeks old and Tango is only 1 week old. Alyssa opened all her birthday presents today and tonight mum has a surprise for her because she invited Alyssa 's friends over for tea. Mum made a cake It's like a sponge cake but It's got raspberry swirls. Mum's going to decorate the cake like It's a paddock with green icing as grass, and toy ponies on top. I recon she will love it.
